Aragehonji breathes new life into traditional Japanese folk music — RocketNews24

These days its hard to describe any music as “unique” but Aragehonji certainly fit that bill. Aragehonji isn’t really new to the scene, having formed back in 2007, but recently the eight-member group has been gathering attention online via magazine website Japaaan thanks to their interesting fusion of Japanese traditional folk music and funk. Doki Doki 2016, featuring …

banner-trim

I’m very excited to announce that I will be returning as a performer to Doki Doki in Manchester this November!

This will be my 3rd venture into the festival and I’m so looking forward to sharing my favourite music and providing the soundtrack during the festival day and being the reason you’re on the dancefloor at the afterparty. It’ll also be brilliant to see Budo Grape perform alongside the other performers, artists and stall holders.

Metal by Uniqlo

Tokyo Five

Uniqlo is a Japanese clothing chain store that has expanded overseas.
I have some clothes from their stores. But I’m not sure how I feel about the T-shirts they’ve sold with heavy metal band logos such as AC/DC, Metallica and Aerosmith!

uniqlo

I have T-shirts from all of those bands from concerts I’ve attended. That’s where heavy metal T-shirts are supposed to be from: heavy metal concerts.

And that’s who are supposed to wear them: heavy metal fans.

Heavy metal is not a fad like pop music!
